Sono state rese note le nomination della 90esima edizione della notte degli Oscar 2018 che si terrà il 4 marzo prossimo a Los Angels e Guillermo del Toro ha già portato a casa il suo personale successo avendo ricevuto il maggior numero di candidature con il suo “The Shape of Water” (“La forma dell’acqua”), già vincitore del Leone d’Oro. La pellicola del regista messicano ha ricevuto 13 nomination mancando di poco il record detenuto da “La La Land”, “Titanic” ed “Eva contro Eva” e le loro 14 nomination record. Guillermo del Toro ha da poco vinto anche due Golden Globe per la regia e la colonna sonora.
